Named a few times on the substitutes bench for the Under-18s in the 2021/22 season, goalkeeper George Wilson signed his scholarship in June 2022.

Impressing at Under-16s level, the Hull-born shot-stopper has been under the stewardship of former Tottenham Hotspur, Wimbledon and Scotland goalkeeper Neil Sullivan. 

Wilson made his Under-18s debut in the 2021/22 campaign, featuring in the Professional Development League fixture against Ipswich Town in April.

A regular in-between the sticks in his first year as a scholar, Wilson was also named amongst the substitutes for the Under-21s in the 2022/23 season.
