Justin Walker was appointed as assistant head coach in November 2022.

He previously held the role of first-team development coach at Derby County, where he worked alongside Tigers boss Liam Rosenior.

Walker was promoted to the Rams’ senior coaching set-up ahead of the 2020/21 season, having previously overseen the Under-18s as professional development phase coach for several years.

An experienced coach with a reputation for developing young talent, he guided Derby’s youngsters to the Under-18 Premier League title during the 2018/19 season.

A midfielder during his playing days, Walker made over 400 career appearances for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Lincoln City and Cambridge United.
