Shota Arveladze felt his side deserved something for their efforts after losing 1-0 to play-off hopefuls Huddersfield Town.
Harry Toffolo’s close-range finish 11 minutes from time broke the Tigers’ resistance having battled hard with 10 men following Tom Eaves’ sending off in first-half injury time.
“I think we should have got more from this game,” said Arveladze.
“I said the same probably after the last game (a 3-1 home defeat to Luton Town), but today I’m even more disappointed.
“Last game, we made mistakes, we lost the ball. Today, until the last minute, we stayed in the game.
“We started quite strongly in the first half. With 10 men, we all know it’s not easy to dominate but the boys have done well.
“The decision has been made, you get a double yellow, it happened what happened, just 20 seconds before the half ends.
“You’re in your head thinking, ‘correct a few things, give some more’, and then it (the red card) happens. It’s not easy.
“We changed a little bit in the last 12 minutes, put 4-3-2, two strikers. We created shots and corners and chances for the equaliser.
“In general, the boys should have got more out of this rather than the zero (points).”
