We take a look at how some of our young players got on in our weekly loan watch.
Harry Wood at Scunthorpe United:
After making his debut for Scunthorpe United against Northampton Town a week prior, 19-year-old midfielder Harry Wood made his home debut for the Iron against Exeter City. Wood was named in the starting line-up by Neil Cox before he was replaced by Alfie Beestin after 56 minutes of action.
James Scott at Hibernian:
After featuring for Scotland Under-21s, the 21-year-old striker was back in action for Hibernian on Sunday as they played out a goalless draw against Hearts. Scott was replaced by Alex Gogic at half-time as Jack Ross decided to make a tactical change.
Billy Chadwick & Ahmed Salam at Linfield FC:
In Northern Ireland, Billy Chadwick and Ahmed Salam both featured for Linfield as they beat Portadown 3-2 away from home in the NIFL Premiership. Chadwick was named in the starting line-up and assisted Christy Manzinga’s equalising goal in the first-half, while Ahmed Salam came on as a late substitute to help his side see out the win.
Jake Leake at Boston United:
After being named in the Vanarama National League North Team of the Week, 18-year-old defender Jake Leake has continued to impress at Boston United. He got another 90 minutes under his belt as the Pilgrims were beaten 2-0 away at Leamington.
Matty Jacob at Gateshead FC:
Matty Jacob was introduced with just over 20 minutes of normal time left to play as Gateshead picked up a huge three points away to Kidderminster Harriers.
Callum Jones at Morecambe:
Callum Jones watched on from the bench as Morecambe were beaten 4-3 by AFC Wimbledon in a seven-goal thriller in League One.
Festus Arthur at Barrow:
Festus Arthur has been featuring regularly for Barrow since joining on loan from the Tigers, but was also an unused substitute on Friday as the Bluebirds fell to a 3-2 defeat at home to Colchester United in League Two.
Andy Smith at Salford City:
Nineteen-year-old defender Andy Smith is still awaiting his league debut at Salford City after being left out of the matchday squad for their win over Bradford City on Saturday.
