Goalkeeper Thomas Macauley started his two-year scholarship in June 2020 and played a handful of Under-18s games in the 2020/21 season, featuring in the FA Youth Cup.
The second-year scholar joined non-league side Hall Road Rangers on work experience in October 2021 and made his debut against Rossington Main in the NCEL Division One. During his four month spell with Hall Road, he made 17 appearances and kept six clean sheets.
