Joining the Academy at Under-13s level, Jevon Mills started his scholarship in June 2020.

The centre-back scored for the Under-18s in a 2-0 victory over QPR in September 2021 and signed his first professional contract a month later and has featured regularly for Richard Naylor and Andy Dawson’s Under-23 side.

He earned his first cap for Republic of Ireland Under-19s in a 2-2 draw against Sweden Under-19s in the same month and was named captain on his second international appearance, also against Sweden Under-19s. 

After being an unused substitute the fixture before against Birmingham City, Mills made his first-team debut for the Tigers in November 2021. The defender came off the bench to replace George Honeyman in second half injury time as the Tigers secured an impressive 1-0 victory away at Cardiff City. 

In January 2022, Mills joined Scottish League One side Falkirk on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 season and made his Bairns debut against Montrose.
