Starting at the Academy in the Under-9s, Alfie Taylor signed his first professional contract in May 2021 following the conclusion of his two-year scholarship.
The centre-back featured regularly for both the Under-18s and Under-23s in the 2021/22 campaign, featuring predominantly on the left-hand side of defence.
One of his most notable performances last season came in the victory over Swansea City for the Under-23s, helping the side keep a clean sheet as he played the full game.
