Nathan Baxter joined Hull City from Chelsea in June 2021, signing on a season-long loan at the MKM Stadium.
Born in Westminster, Baxter began his career with Cray Wanderers before moving to Chelsea when he was just eight years old. Before being loaned out by the Blues, Baxter won the FA Youth Cup and the UEFA Youth League at Stamford Bridge in 2015/16.
Since then, the young goalkeeper has picked up a vast amount of experience away from Chelsea. He learned his trade in non-league during spells with Metropolitan Police, Solihull Moors and Woking, where he was voted Player of the Year.
Arguably Baxter’s most successful season to date came in 2018/19 at Yeovil Town, as he won all five Player of the Season awards at Huish Park. He built on his performances at Yeovil by moving on loan to Ross County in Scotland in 2019/20.
Most recently in 2020/21, Baxter represented Accrington Stanley in League One. He managed to keep seven clean sheets in 19 appearances for Stanley and saved three of the four penalties he faced.
