Having signed for the Club as an eight-year-old, young defender Jacob Greaves progressed through the Academy ranks to sign his first professional deal in April 2019.
Son of former Tigers defender Mark, the centre-back put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal, with a Club option of a further year, having skippered the Under-18s in 2018/19.
His impressive progress in the early stages of Grant McCann's reign at the MKM Stadium ahead of the 2019/20 campaign was rewarded with a new three-year deal, which saw him commit his future to the Tigers until at least June 2022.
That deal came ahead of a loan switch to League Two side Cheltenham Town, where he excelled in what was his first taste of senior football.
His outstanding performances in a Robins shirt saw him named as EFL Young Player of the Month for September 2019 before picking up the Club's Player of the Month award for December 2019. He finished the campaign with 35 appearances to his name in all competitions and helped Cheltenham reach the League Two play-offs.
Greaves had no problem stepping up to League One in 2020/21, making 41 appearances for the Tigers in their title-winning campaign.
