Bio
Regan Slater rejoined Hull City on a permanent transfer from Sheffield United in January 2022.
The midfielder spent the 2020/21 season on loan with the Tigers, helping the club achieve its first league title in 55 years as we gained promotion from League One as champions.
In total, Slater made 31 appearances in all competitions that season, scoring in the 3-1 victory against Bristol Rovers in October 2020.
Born in Gleadless, he progressed through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane and became the Blades' youngest-ever goalscorer when netting on his senior debut against Grimsby in the EFL Trophy in 2016.
He spent two seasons on loan in League Two, making 41 appearances for Carlisle United in 2018/19 and 15 at Scunthorpe United in 2019/20.
Upon his return to the MKM Stadium, Slater cemented his place in the Tigers' midfield and featured 16 times as we finished 19th in our first season back in the Championship.
In his first full season as a permanent Hull City player, Slater scored five goals and registered four assists in 46 appearances, winning Players' Player and Supporters' Player of the Year awards for the 2022/23 campaign.
