With the annual Non-League Day coming up this Saturday (22 March), we put in the address of the MKM Stadium to find six games within 25 miles to get your football fix during the international break.

Beverley Town v Campion AFC
Norwood Park | 7.6 miles
The closest fixture to the MKM Stadium is at Norwood Park as promotion-chasing Beverley Town welcome ninth-placed Campion AFC .
Beverley boss Dave Ricardo recently celebrated managing his 200th game for the club after a 1-0 win over Pickering Town. The Beavers, who have reached the semi-finals of the Northern Counties East Football League Cup sit in the play-offs in the NCEL Premier Division table after 35 games played on 62 points.
Their most recent league fixture saw Beverley secure a last-minute victory away at Rossington Main. After ex-Tiger Nathan Ofori scored the opener, Adam Stockhill's 90th-minute winner for Beverley game them a 2-1 win.
As well as Ofori, Beverley currently have a number of ex-Tigers amongst their squad, including Bobby Attree, Matthew Plummer, Will Taylor, McCauley Snelgrove and Glen Sani.
Meanwhile, Campion are currently winless in their last six games, recording only two points with draws against Albion Sports and Hallam. They suffered a 1-0 loss at home to another local side in Barton Town, who play Friday 21 March at home to Tadcaster Albion.

Brigg Town v Shelley
The Hawthorns | 13.9 miles
Another team chasing promotion is Brigg Town, who are sat in the NCEL Division One play-offs. Welcoming 17th-placed Shelley to The Hawthorns, the Zebras sit in the final play-off place in fifth after recording 20 wins in 38 league games played.
The Zebras, under the management of Brett Agnew, have the best goalscorer in the division with Josh Batty, who has scored 26 league goals and 34 goals in all competitions.
Appleby Frodingham v Wakefield AFC
Brumby Hall Sports Ground | 16.4 miles
Staying in the NCEL Division One, Appleby Frodingham welcome Wakefield AFC as the Steelmen continue their first season back in the division since 2014.
Under the management of Joe Moloney, Appleby Frodingham are sat in the relegation zone in 21st, five points from safety afetr recently being given a three-point deduction by the league, while Wakefield sit second on 81 points, five points behind top-of-the-league Horbury Town.
Appleby Frodingham’s most recent home fixture did see them defeat Yorkshire Amateur 5-0, with a brace from Nathan Jarman and goals from Ben Kirk, Isaac Archer and Joel Chapman.
Frodingham also have won their last two games, defeating Glasshoughton Welfare and Swallownest 1-0 and 2-1 away from home respectively. Meanwhile, Wakefield are on a seven-game winning run, and haven't lost a game since November in the second round of the West Riding County Cup.
Bottesford Town v Rossington Main
Barrett Steel Stadium | 18.2 miles
Just short of an extra two miles, Bottesford Town welcome Rossington Main to the Barrett Steel Stadium. Separated by just two points, Bottesford sit 15th in the NCEL Premier League while Rossington sit 12th.
Bottesford, managed by Leigh Herrick, have ex-Tiger Charlie Dunkerley amongst their ranks, with the forward playing 33 times in all competitions, scoring twice. At the other end of the field, they also possess ex-scholar Ben Voase. Featuring 16 times for the club, the goalkeeper is on loan from Bridlington Town for the remainder of the 2024/25 season, and kept a clean sheet in their latest fixture, a 1-0 away win over Pickering Town courtesy of a goal from Jonathan Nyantou two minutes from time.
Rossington also have an ex-City youth amongst their ranks, with Mitch Langton scoring four goals in 35 outings this campaign. However, Main have lost their last two games, both against Beverley Town 5-3 and 2-1 respectively.
Cleethorpes Town v Ashington AFC
Myenergi Stadium | 18.4 miles
At the top of the Northern Premier League East Division, Cleethorpes Town will be looking to secure the title when they host Ashington at the Myenergi Stadium.
Currently nine points clear at the top of the table with 77 points, Cleethorpes have ex-City forward Will Annan [pictured below] amongst their ranks. Scoring seven goals in 33 appearances, Annan has been a key player for The Owls this season, while the opposition Ashington sit 16th in the table, two points clear of the relegation zone.
Recently, Under-21s defender Alfie Taylor joined the Owls on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. The 21-year-old is aiming to make his debut in this fixture against Ashington.

Club Thorne Colliery v Selby Town
Chesterfield Poultry Stadium | 24.7 miles
Our final game sees Club Thorne Colliery host play-off chasing Selby Town. This is Colls’ first season back in the NCEL since 1986, and possess ex-City striker Joe Pugh amongst their ranks. The forward has scored twice in 16 outings, while Selby sit four points off the play-off places in eighth place.
Club Thorne are searching for their first victory after being winless in their last three games, drawing their last game 1-1 away at Nostell Miners Welfare. Selby meanwhile are unbeaten in their last five, winning four. Winning their last two league fixtures 3-0 and 2-0 over Yorkshire Amateur and Brigg Town, recording two clean sheets, Samuel Calvert has been key for the Robins by scoring three goals among those two wins.
