Fourteen appearances and one assist later, the winger made a permanent transfer to then Premier League side Watford in January 2016, making his debut five days later in a 2-1 win over Newcastle United.
Finishing the 2015/16 season with 15 appearances for the Hornets, his first full campaign with Watford resulted in three assists in 29 Premier League appearances, recording assists against Bournemouth, Liverpool and Everton.
