Under-21s defender Paul Iggulden has extended his loan at Stocksbridge Park Steels until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a productive spell so far with the Steels since first joining the club back in August.
Making his debut for Ian Richards’ side in a 1-1 draw against Sherwood Colliery on the same day he joined, the first-year professional has since made 32 appearances for the club.
Scoring his first goal in senior football with a stoppage-time equaliser in November in a 2-2 draw against Liversedge, the York-born defender scored his second and third Stocksbridge goals in back-to-back wins over North Ferriby and Wombwell Town this month, helping the team progress to the semi-finals of the Sheffield & Hallam Senior Cup with a 4-1 victory against the latter.
Currently sitting seventh in the Northern Premier League East division with 51 points after 31 games, Stocksbridge sit just four points off the play-off places.
Iggulden will be looking to make his 33rd appearance for the club this evening as they host Grimsby Borough at the Bracken Moor Stadium in a 7:45pm kick-off.
We would like to wish Paul the best of luck for the remainder of his loan spell with the Steels!
