Under-21s’ duo Shea Callister and Cameron Gray have extended their loans at Northern Premier League East side Brighouse Town by a further month.

Goalkeeper Callister, 18, penned a contract extension with the Tigers prior to joining Brighouse last month.

The former Salford City scholar has featured eight times for Town, helping the club accumulate seven points with four draws and one win.

Midfielder Gray, 18, first featured for Grant Black’s side back in October when initially joining for one month after a successful loan spell at Barton Town, where he featured 10 times.

Captaining Brighouse in their league fixture against Dunston last month, the third-year scholar has featured 12 times for the club.

Brighouse currently sit just inside the relegation zone in 19th  place in the Northern Premier League East table with 28 points after 29 games played.

The City duo will be hoping to lift Brighouse out of the relegation zone with a positive result in their next fixture this afternoon away at Ashington AFC.
