With six goals scored at both first team and Under-18 levels and an impressive 10 for the Under-21s, we selected our favourite four goals for you to vote for.

João Pedro vs Bristol City

A great start in Bristol for the Tigers came from a fantastic team move that started with goalkeeper Ivor Pandur and finished with João Pedro’s clinical finish.

Pandur found Steven Alzate who played the ball to Gustavo Puerta. The Colombian from inside his own half lofted the ball forward for the run of Abu Kamara. The winger first-time squared the ball for Pedro, who brilliantly turned defender Rob Dickie before squeezing the ball past the onrushing Max O’Leary to find the bottom corner.

Later being awarded the goal by the EFL, Gustavo Puerta’s first league goal was a moment of individual skill before getting the ball through the tightest of gaps.

With the scoreline locked at 1-1, Sean McLoughlin’s lofted pass found Puerta down the left wing. Keeping the ball in-play, the Colombian evaded the challenge of Alex Matos with a nice feint before firing his shot into the net from a tight angle off the foot of goalkeeper Jamie Cumming.

A vital equaliser to secure a big point away at The Hawthorns, Abu Kamara’s fourth goal of the season was a well-worked team move.

Starting from Kasey Palmer’s cleared corner, the Tigers shifted the ball well from the left flank to the centre quickly through a combination of Lincoln, Palmer and Steven Alzate. The latter picked out Lewie Coyle, who in-turn found the run of Plamer to head the ball across for Kamara to clinically finish from close range.

Our academy nomination comes from the Under-21s. Already 3-1 up heading into second-half stoppage-time, substitute Rocco Coyle scored the best of the goals in our 4-1 win over Crewe Alexandra.

Shaping up the shoot, the midfielder curled his right-footed effort around the Crewe wall to find the bottom corner, beating the dive of goalkeeper Mikolaj Lenarcik to secure all three points for Conor Sellars’ side in the Professional Development League.
