It’s time to vote for your Safiport Player of the Month for September!
After defeat against Sheffield United at the MKM Stadium, Tim Walter’s Hull City recorded back-to-back league victories in the month of September, defeating Stoke City 3-1 before thumping Cardiff City 4-1 in our dedicated 120th anniversary game.
The nominations for our Safiport Player of the Month award for September are:
Mohamed Belloumi
One of four deadline day signings, Mohamed Belloumi has firmly become a fan favourite with his electric performances down the right flank. Creating the space for Regan Slater to score against Stoke City, along with winning the penalty for the equaliser, the Algerian netted twice in the 4-1 victory over Cardiff City, with the second being a lovely chipped finish.
Lewie Coyle
Our Safiport POTM for August, Lewie Coyle has had another strong month to be nominated for a second consecutive month. Winning 17 ground duels and six aerial duels, along with providing five key passes in 162 accurate passes, the captain also made his 150th appearance for his hometown club in the 4-1 victory over Cardiff City.
Kasey Palmer
Another one of our deadline day additions, Kasey Palmer has featured the less out of the four nominees, playing just 124 minutes, but still leaving a big impact. Scoring his first City goal in the 3-1 win over Stoke City, playing a key role in the third finish when his shot deflected in off Ben Wilmot, the Jamaican international has produced three key passes with just 59 touches.
Ivor Pandur
A second consecutive nomination for Ivor Pandur rounds up the September nominations. Producing seven big saves, including four from efforts inside the penalty area, the Croation had 194 touches of the ball, playing 156 accurate passes, 13 of them being long balls.
