Barton Town v Emley AFC

The closest fixture to the MKM Stadium is at the Easy Buy Stadium as Barton Town welcome top-of-the-table Emley AFC in the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division.

Having former City scholar Ben Voase on loan last season, Barton have had a number of ex-Tigers amongst their ranks, including Dean Windass who famously netted a hat-trick in his one and only appearance for the club. Other players included current goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright and former striker Gary Bradshaw.

North Ferriby v Liversedge

Dransfield Stadium | 5.8 miles

Chasing promotion from the Northern Premier League East division, North Ferriby welcome mid-table side Liversedge to the Dransfield Stadium, a stadium that also sees our Under-21s play their Professional Development League fixtures at.

Managed by former Tigers’ youth Chris Bolder, the Villagers have a plethora of former City players amongst their squad. Playing 23 times for the first team over a three-year spell, Adam Bolder lines up in the midfield with former academy products Matty Dixon, Harry Lovick, Harry Wallis, Danny East, Joel Shortland and Danny Emerton.

Beverley Town v Wombwell Town

Norwood Park | 7.6 miles

Top-of-the-league in the Northern Counties East Football League Division One, free-scoring Beverley Town welcome play-off chasers Wombwell Town to Norwood Park.

Scoring 110 goals in 34 league games, Beverley have recently added to their strike force with the dual registration signing of ex-Tiger McCauley Snelgrove from North Ferriby. The Beavers also have a number of ex-City youth players amongst their squad, including goalkeeper Tom Nicholson, defender Matty Plummer, midfielder Will Taylor and striker Ben Hinchliffe. The latter has scored 19 times in the league, second behind Joe McFadyen on 24.


Bottesford Town v Rossington Main

Barrett Steel Stadium | 18.2 miles

In the division above, Bottesford Town welcome play-off contenders Rossington Main to the Barrett Steel Stadium.

The Poachers contain two ex-Tigers in their ranks in Eddie Rogerson and Charlie Dunkerley, while Rossington also have an ex-Tiger in their team in the form of Mitchell Langton, who has featured 20 times in all competitions this season.


Cleethorpes Town v Stockton Town

Sitting firmly in mid-table, the Owls possess three former City players in their squad. Defenders Ben Middleton and Sam Topliss are an ever-present for the Cleethorpes backline, while Will Annan leads the line up front, with the Scottish winger netting a stoppage-time finish at the MKM Stadium for the Under-21s in the 2015/16 Premier League Cup final second leg.


Goole AFC v Albion Sports

Welcoming play-off contenders Albion Sports, Goole AFC will be looking to clear away from the relegation zone in the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division.

One man Albion Sports will need to watch is ex-Tiger Reagan Waud who has netted three goals in nine appearances, scoring a brace in their 5-3 away victory over Bottesford Town last month.


Bridlington Town v Pontefract Collieries

The furthest of the seven games found on the Non-League Day map, the East Riding Senior Cup semi-finalists Bridlington Town welcome Pontefract Collieries to Queensgate.

Recently having current Under-21s midfielder Jake Brown on loan at the club, netting once in four appearances, the Seasiders also contain a number of ex-Tigers with Glen Sani, Jack Bulless, Benn Lewis and Ellis Barkworth, with the latter featuring once for the first team in our League Cup tie against Doncaster Rovers back in August 2017.
