Hull City are delighted to announce that four members of their Under-21 side have signed new contracts ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Defenders Jack Leckie and Kyle Fanning, and winger Sincere Hall have signed new one-year contracts, with the club holding the option of a further 12 months, while midfielder Nathan Tinsdale has signed a new two-year deal, with the club option of an extra year.
Tinsdale, 18, joined the club from Bradford City at the beginning of last season, featuring consistently in the heart of midfield for Conor Sellars’ Under-21 team. He was named on the bench for the first team in the Emirates FA Cup third round replay away at Birmingham City in January.
Leckie, 20, spent the majority of last season recovering from a long-term injury suffered while on loan at Farsley Celtic. Featuring six times in National League North for Farsley, the ex-Burnley man made his long-awaited return as a substitute for the Under-21s in a 1-0 win over Watford at Vicarage Road before starting the final eight games of the season.
Fanning, 19, penned his first professional contract at the beginning of the 2023/24 season following a successful two-year scholarship. Signing from Barnsley originally as an Under-15, the defender was used as a right-back and centre-back during last campaign.
Hall, 20, was a consistent creative force for the Under-21s last season, his stoppage-time winner at Vicarage Road being one of the highlights. The Bermuda international, who was signed from the Kinetic Academy and spent time out on loan with Guiseley last season, won the Tigers' Uber Eats Goal of the Month award for March for his finish against Birmingham City Under-21s.
Congratulations on your new contracts, lads!
