Premier League side Newcastle United will visit the MKM Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Saturday 27 July, kick-off 2pm.
Eddie Howe’s Magpies finished seventh last season and suffered a group stage exit in their first Champions League campaign in 20 years and quarter-final defeats in both domestic cups.
Eldin Jakupovic saved two penalties on the Tynesiders’ last competitive visit to HU3 in November 2016 as City reached the EFL Cup semi-finals for the first time following a 3-1 shootout success.
