Hull City made it four games unbeaten in a row with a 1-1 draw at home to fellow play-off contenders West Bromwich Albion.
Fábio Carvalho opened the scoring with a stunning finish, but an equaliser by Darnell Furlong meant the points were shared at the MKM Stadium.
Head Coach Liam Rosenior made just the one change to his starting XI to the one that defeated Southampton in midweek last time out, as Tyler Morton replaced Regan Slater in the midfield.
Both teams had early chances to open the scoring as Grady Diangana fired wide for the Baggies while Jaden Philogene saw his effort deflect wide. Mikey Johnston dragged his attempt wide, after evading a number of challenges, before Philogene saw a second shot deflect wide.
Some good work from Tom Fellows created a shooting opportunity for Jed Wallace, but the captain struck the woodwork before Ryan Allsop brilliantly denied Alex Mowatt from the rebound. At the other end, Anass Zaroury stung the palms of Alex Palmer in the visiting goal.
The Tigers opened the scoring on 35 minutes as a short corner routine caught out the WBA defence, and Carvalho arrowed his powerful right-footed finish from range into the top corner.
The lead however would only last seven minutes as Furlong got the decisive touch from a corner delivery to guide his header into the far corner.
In the second half, Jean Michaël Seri tried an audacious chip from distance, but a backpedaling Palmer pushed the ball over the bar before the visiting keeper then held Zaroury’s tame effort.

With both teams continuing to search for a winner in the closing stages, Philogene came close with 10 minutes left to play. The winger switched the ball onto his right foot before taking aim from the edge of the box, but the strike hit the post before bouncing to Carvalho. The Liverpool loanee looked to secure his brace, but skied the rebound with his left foot.
The visitors then hit the framework of their goal just minutes later as Adam Reach hit the right-hand post with a curling strike before Allsop did well with his feet to divert John Swift’s rebound away from goal.
