Hull City are delighted to announce the signing of young forward Abu Kamara from Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the MKM Stadium, with a club option of a further year.

The dynamic winger was a prominent part of the Portsmouth squad that were crowned League One champions last season, playing every league game and featuring 52 times in all competitions.

He registered double figures for goals and assists – 10 and 11 respectively – contributing a brace in a 3-0 victory at Shrewsbury Town and a hat-trick of assists in a 4-1 win against Reading.

Three of his six appearances for the Canaries came this season, scoring his only goal in a 4-3 EFL Cup triumph over Stevenage, with the other half coming during the 2022/23 campaign.

Joining Norwich aged 10, the youngster signed his first professional deal in 2021 and produced impressive numbers for their youth teams, with 13 goals in 15 Premier League 2 matches in 2022/23.
