Head Coach Liam Rosenior is in the running to be named the EFL Championship Manager of the Season at the 2024 EFL Awards.

Rosenior, who has enjoyed a positive campaign in his first full season in charge of City, has been put in a three-man shortlist for the prestigious award, taking on Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna and Leeds United’s Daniel Farke.

Helping the club steer away from the relegation zone last season to finish 15th, Rosenior has transformed the Tigers into play-off contenders, with his Hull City team battling against the division’s best throughout 23/24.

Receiving nominations for manager of the month for September 2023 and February 2024 respectively, the 39-year-old has overseen several impressive victories over this season, including ending Leicester City’s perfect record with a 1-0 victory at the King Power Stadium in September and defeating promotion chasing Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium 2-1 in February.

The winner will be selected at the league’s annual ceremony, which takes place in London on Sunday 14 April.
