By Hull City

Hull City will join Leeds United at tonight’s Sky Bet Championship fixture at Elland Road to remember Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight.

Chris and Kev tragically had their lives taken from them, whilst away supporting their club on 5th April 2000.

Before the match, wreaths will be laid at Chris and Kev’s plaque by representatives of Leeds United and Hull City, as a mark of respect.

When both teams take to the field, ahead of the 8pm kick-off, supporters of Leeds United and Hull City will join together in a minute of applause.

In the 24th minute of the match, to mark 24 years since they left us, a video tribute will be played on the big screen.

Chris and Kev will never be forgotten.

We politely ask supporters to be respectful and refrain from bringing Türkiye flags or shirts with them, as we stand with Leeds in remembering the tragic events in Istanbul, 24 years ago.
