We can confirm our first batch of pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Liam Rosenior’s men will make the short trip to fourth-tier Grimsby Town on Saturday 15 July (3pm) before hosting beaten League One play-off finalists Barnsley on Tuesday 18 July (7:45pm).

The Tigers will then travel to West Yorkshire to take on last season’s League Two semi-finalists Bradford City on Saturday 22 July (3pm).

Paul Hurst’s Mariners recorded a top-half finish after placing 11th in their first season back in the EFL and reached the FA Cup quarter-finals with giant-killing victories over Luton Town and Southampton.

The Tykes finished fourth under Michael Duff and edged past Bolton Wanderers in the play-off semi-finals before suffering a heartbreaking extra-time defeat against Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley.

The Bantams, led by the experienced Mark Hughes, also fell in the play-offs after succumbing to a 3-2 aggregate semi-final loss to Carlisle United, having secured sixth spot on the final day.

Ticketing information will be confirmed in due course.
