Newly promoted Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield Wednesday will make the short journey to the MKM Stadium for our first home game seven days later.
The season’s opening month will include a visit to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 19 August and a home game against Bristol City the following week.
City will entertain beaten play-off semi-finalists Sunderland on Boxing Day and Blackburn on Friday 29 December in the final match of 2023 before visiting Hillsborough on New Year’s Day.
Over the Easter weekend, the Tigers will host Stoke City on Good Friday before travelling to recently relegated Leeds United on Easter Monday.
Our home campaign will conclude against promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday 27 April before a long final-day trip to League One champions Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 4 May.
