Midfielder Callum Jones has joined Sky Bet League Two side Forest Green Rovers on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old will spend the duration of the 2023/24 campaign in Gloucestershire to gain additional first-team experience, having signed a new contract with City in January through to summer 2025.
The former Wales youth international has made 11 senior appearances in black and amber, captaining the side and scoring his only Tigers goal in a 2-0 EFL Trophy win at Harrogate Town.
He has previously had loan spells with Morecambe, for whom he netted twice in 18 outings, and Grimsby Town, where injury restricted him to three appearances.
Rovers were relegated in 2022/23 after placing bottom in their first-ever season in League One, a year after winning the League Two title under Rob Edwards.
We wish Callum and Forest Green all the best for the forthcoming campaign.
