Hull City can confirm that Josh Emmanuel has joined Grimsby Town on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old made 38 appearances during a two-a-half-year spell with the Tigers, helping the club win the League One title in his debut season.
The former Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers man has featured a handful of times for Conor Sellars’ Under-21 side this season.
The right-back will join up with Paul Hurst’s men, who are currently 16th in League Two, and will be eligible to make his debut against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday before they host Championship side Luton Town the following Tuesday in a FA Cup fourth-round replay.
We would like to thank Josh for all his efforts in a black and amber shirt and wish him well for his future career.
