Hull City U21s begin their Professional Development League campaign with a fixture at the MKM Stadium.
Conor Sellars’ side welcome Chris Lock’s Charlton Athletic to the MKM on Tuesday 15 August, KO: 2pm.
The Tigers reached the national play-offs of the Professional Development League last campaign after defeating the Addicks 5-0 at The Valley on the final day of the regular season. Harry Wood netted a hat-trick along with finishes coming from Callum Jones and Jim Simms in the comprehensive win.
The fixture will provide the first opportunity for fans to possibly view some of the new players that will feature in the Under-21s campaign. Kyle Fanning and Jake Brown have graduated from the Under-18s to sign their first professional contracts as they joined the Under-21 set-up full-time.
New signings Owen Foster, Ajay Weston, Joseph Johnson, Raj Palit, Nathan Tinsdale and Henry Sandat could potentially also make their official Under-21 debuts after joining over the summer.
The game is free for all fans to attend. Supporters wishing to attend the fixture can enter via exit gate 17 in the South West corner from 1pm onwards, with the West Stand lower open for the fixture.
There is free parking in the South West car park and refreshments can be purchased in the West Stand kiosks. Please note that the MKM is a cashless stadium.
If you cannot attend the fixture, the club will be providing coverage through the academy’s official social media channels on Twitter and Instagram.
