Forward Benjamin Tetteh has completed a permanent transfer to newly promoted French Ligue 1 side FC Metz for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old moved to the MKM Stadium from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor last July and made 17 appearances for the Tigers during an injury hit 2022/23 season.

The Ghana international scored his only City goal in a 2-0 home victory over West Bromwich Albion in March – a powerful angled strike which was voted our Goal of the Month.

The frontman provided a further three assists – including two against the Baggies – and won the penalty from which Ozan Tufan netted our opening goal of last season against Bristol City.

We would like to thank Benjamin for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him well for the future.
