Hull Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the United Kingdom.
We have been collecting your donations at every home game since the opening day of the season against Bristol City, and Coyle was on hand to help us deliver our latest collection of supplies to the Hull Foodbank Warehouse on Chapel Street, as well as making a generous donation himself.
Having grown up in Hull, the 26-year-old defender is aware of how much of a difference your support can make to those less fortunate across the city.
"It's been amazing to meet Clive and Linda (from Hull Foodbank) and see the amazing work they do," said Coyle.
"You hear about foodbanks and other fantastic projects that give back to those in need, but to be here and see it physically actually humbles you. You pinch yourself and realise how lucky and fortunate you are.
"It's been nice to lend a hand and get some parcels organised for people that need them. It's been great to come and meet some of the volunteers who take time out of their days to make sure people that need help across the city get the help they need."
