Hull City can confirm the appointment of Beri Pardo as the club’s new head of performance strategy.

We can also confirm that former full-back Robbie Stockdale has joined the club’s coaching staff on a temporary basis.

A UEFA A license coach, Pardo has dual citizenship between Portugal and Türkiye, where he was recently assistant manager of Super Lig outfit İstanbul Başakşehir.

The 32-year-old helped the Grey Owls secure a fourth-place finish and Europa Conference League qualification last season.

He was previously chief analyst at Fenerbahçe for three years and held a similar role at Trabzonspor, while he also worked as a scout for Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.

As for Stockdale, the 42-year-old made 14 appearances for the Tigers during our 2004/05 League One promotion triumph and will assist interim head coach Andy Dawson and the rest of the senior backroom team.

The former Scotland international was most recently manager of League Two side Rochdale, where he took charge of 59 matches over a 13-month reign from July 2021 to August this year.

He has also held coaching positions at Grimsby Town, Sunderland, Hibernian and West Bromwich Albion, working with the likes of Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, Chris Coleman and Paul Heckingbottom.
