Hull City can confirm that Ben Warner has joined the club’s first-team backroom staff as coach analyst.
The 29-year-old reunites with head coach Liam Rosenior and assistant head coach Justin Walker having worked in the coaching set-up together at Derby County.
Warner spent seven years in the Rams’ analysis department, the first four solely with the academy and the last three as head of analysis covering both the senior and youth teams.
Before then, he worked at Nottingham Forest for two years while studying for a master’s degree in MRes Performance Analysis at Nottingham Trent University.
“It’s really exciting to be here,” said Warner. “To work with Liam and Justin again was a big pull and I know how valued I am in the process.
“Fundamentally, I’m going to work alongside the other performance analysts to provide tactical insight for the rest of the coaching staff to improve and affect behaviours and win football matches."
