Keane Lewis-Potter has capped an impressive season with a hat-trick of trophies at Hull City’s 2021/22 Player of the Year awards.

The 21-year-old has gained many plaudits throughout the campaign and was voted by supporters as their top-performing Tiger after receiving 35.36% of the vote. The Hull-born forward was honoured by his teammates in the Players’ Player of the Year category and received the overall Player of the Year accolade, chosen by head coach Shota Arveladze. An ever-present in the Championship this term, the England Under-21 international is the Tigers’ leading scorer with 12 goals in all competitions.

Fellow homegrown talent Jacob Greaves was named Young Player of the Year for the second season running. Selected by Arveladze, the 21-year-old left-sided centre-back has played every minute of every league game in his first season at this level, helping keep a commendable 15 clean sheets.

Goal of the Season was voted for on the night, with Ryan Longman’s spectacular effort against Everton picked as the standout strike of 2021/22. The 21-year-old curled a first-time left-footed beauty into the top corner from 20 yards to send a thrilling FA Cup third-round tie into extra-time.

The Academy Player of the Year award went to promising young defender Jevon Mills after a season in which he signed his first professional contract and made his senior debut. The 18-year-old also represented and captained Republic of Ireland Under-19s, enjoyed a loan spell with Scottish side Falkirk and was nominated for LFE Championship Apprentice of the Season.

Congratulations to all of our award winners!
