Hull City are delighted to announce that second-year scholars Tom Macauley, Alfie Taylor, Harry Wallis and Sincere Hall have signed their first professional contracts with the club.
All the players have signed a one-year deal, with the club holding the option of an extra year.
Goalkeeper Macauley, 17, impressed out on loan earlier this season with Northern Counties East League Division One side Hall Road Rangers, keeping six clean sheets in 17 appearances.
Defender Taylor, 18, has been ever-present in the heart of defence for both the Under-18s and Under-23s this season, scoring recently for the Under-18s in their Professional Development League fixture against Swansea City.
Midfielder Wallis, 17, has captained the Under-18s throughout the 2021/22 campaign, operating either in the centre of midfield or as a number 10. The Hull-born midfielder also scored recently for the Under-18s in their fixture against Millwall.
Forward Hall, 18, has recently been featuring for the Under-23s after an impressive debut season with the Tigers’ Under-18s side. Signing from the Kinetic Academy, Hall made his Bermuda Under-20s debut back in November, scoring in the 3-0 victory over St Vincent and the Grenadines in their Concacaf Under-20 qualifying matches.
The four scholars join Jevon Mills in signing their first professional deals as they look to impress Richard Naylor and Andy Dawson in the Under-23s next season.
Congratulations to Tom, Alfie, Harry and Sincere on their contracts!
