Defender Sean McLoughlin is in confident mood ahead of tonight's game against Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Tigers extended their unbeaten run away from home to four games by holding Birmingham City to a goalless draw at St Andrew’s, and will be looking to build on that display against the Sky Blues.
“It’s hard to pinpoint anything specific,” said McLoughlin when asked about the team’s form on the road.
“Whether we’re playing home or away, we’re always looking to win the game and believe we can win the game. Our home form hasn’t been as good as our away form. Hopefully, the next time we play at home against Luton, we can give them (the home fans) something to cheer about.
“We have Coventry up next so we’ll be looking to get a good result to take into the game against Luton.”
Coventry are just three points off the play-offs after comfortably beating Sheffield United in their last home outing, and McLoughlin is aware of how tough a task it will be for the Tigers.
“We know the quality they have in their team but our away form has been really good recently,” added McLoughlin.
“We’ll be going there with confidence after the draw at the weekend (against Birmingham City). We’re going to try and take the game to them and win the game.”
