Hull City are proud to announce a new partnership with HerGameToo, a campaign run by female football fans to raise awareness of sexist abuse in the game.
HerGameToo was founded in May 2021 with the aim of combating sexism in football and creating a more welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for young girls and women.
The campaign highlights the issues female fans face and champions the achievements of women in the industry, whether players, staff or supporters.
They are keen to encourage more females to attend matches and foster an ethos in which women of all ages are treated equally and with respect, both online and in real life.
Bobbi Hadgraft, Hull City’s HerGameToo ambassador, said: “I’m over the moon to see this partnership formed between my lifelong football club and HerGameToo.
“This is such a powerful move and makes a statement that is backed by immediate action.
“I can’t wait to work with the club as Hull City’s HerGameToo fan ambassador to ensure the experience for female supporters is always on form!”
As part of the partnership, HerGameToo branding will appear at all home matches around the MKM Stadium, and the club will be contacting female supporters for feedback on their experiences of attending games and how to make football more inclusive for women.
