Forward Tom Eaves is looking forward to coming up against play-off chasing Coventry City, as the Tigers travel to the West Midlands for the second time in the space of a few days.
The 30-year-old returned to the starting line-up at the weekend against Birmingham City, and having recently surpassed 100 appearances for the Tigers, will now be hoping for a run of games under the management of Shota Arveladze.
“It’s going to be a really tough contest,” said Eaves.
“We’ve been watching them and the way they move the ball. They’re a really good footballing side who haven’t been in the Championship for long themselves.
“It’s going to be a really tough test but we’re going to look to go there and win the game. That’s the mindset of the whole group.”
Eaves has made 24 appearances so far this season in the Championship, and remains a fans' favourite at the MKM Stadium.
“It really does spur you on when you hear the fans screaming your name,” explained Eaves.
“You definitely feel the love, that’s for sure. It’s great and thankfully the fans have been absolutely fantastic with me.
“It’s great having them back in the stadium again. The past few games since the ownership has changed with the fans back have been great.”
