Hull City have been drawn away to League Two side Bradford City in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie at Valley Parade will be played week commencing 8th August.
The Bantams, managed by Mark Hughes, finished 14th last season but are expected to challenge for promotion this time around and yesterday announced the signing of former Tigers captain Richie Smallwood.
Our last meeting with Bradford came in April 2005, when goals from Stuart Elliott and Nick Barmby secured a 2-0 win in West Yorkshire, roared on by over 5,000 visiting fans.
The result avenged a 1-0 home defeat earlier in the season and put Peter Taylor’s team on the brink of promotion from League One, which was achieved a week later.
A date and ticketing details will be confirmed in due course.
