Birmingham match moved

4 July 2022

Hull City’s Championship match at home to Birmingham City has been given a new date.

The game, which has been moved due to Hull Fair, will now take place 24 hours later than originally scheduled, on Sunday 16th October at 3pm.

The Tigers won the corresponding fixture 2-0 last season, courtesy of goals from George Honeyman and Mallik Wilks, with the reverse match at St Andrew’s finishing goalless.

Blues finished 20th last term and recently appointed Republic of Ireland assistant manager John Eustace as their new head coach, replacing their former League Cup-winning midfielder Lee Bowyer.
