Williams remains unavailable for Middlesbrough

7 April 2022

Shota Arveladze has revealed that midfielder Randell Williams remains unavailable for this weekend’s game against Middlesbrough.

The 25-year-old has not featured for the Tigers since being withdrawn against Bournemouth in January, and Arveladze says he still has work to do before he can make a return to the team.

“Randell still isn’t 100% fit,” explained Arveladze.

“He doesn’t feel as comfortable as we want (him to), so it’s probably only going to be him (missing out through injury against Middlesbrough).

“He must concentrate on his fitness and get back as soon as he can and then see how it goes.”

Away from Williams, Arveladze confirmed that he has no other fresh injuries to deal with ahead of the trip to the Riverside Stadium.

However, forward Tom Eaves will be unavailable for selection as he serves out his one-match suspension following his dismissal against Huddersfield Town.
