Defender Brandon Fleming is determined to maintain his form after being named as your Player of the Month for March.
The 22-year-old left-back has now won the award in back-to-back months having impressed under the management of Shota Arveladze.
“When you get a chance, all you want to do is take it,” said Fleming.
“Fortunately, in my first game (against Swansea City) I had a decent game and I have managed to get a good few games together since.
“I’m feeling confident in my ability and the way I’m playing. At this level, it’s about consistency.
“It’s alright having a couple of good games now and then but it’s about doing it for a whole season. My next goal is to get a full season under my belt playing consistently well.”
The Tigers will be looking to extend their five-game unbeaten run away from home this weekend against play-off chasing Middlesbrough, and Fleming is looking forward to the game at the Riverside Stadium.
“I think it’s going to be similar to when we played away at Sheffield United, with a big atmosphere,” added Fleming.
“Those are the occasions you want to be involved in as a player. The changing room was such a good place after we got a point (against Sheffield United) as we felt like all our hard work had been repaid with a valuable point.
“We’ll go (to Middlesbrough) and try and do the same. They’re pushing for the play-offs and we’ll go and try and upset them by getting three points.
“The fans will be a massive help there.”
