Young goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright has joined Gainsborough Trinity on a one-month loan.
The 19-year-old made his Holy Blues debut against Stalybridge Celtic in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League yesterday and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 home win.
The Grimsby-born shot-stopper has been on the Tigers’ books since Under-13s level and penned a new three-year deal earlier this year.
His only Hull City senior appearance to date came in a 2-1 Papa John’s Trophy defeat against Leicester City Under-21s last September.
The glovesman has also represented England at Under-18s level and is highly thought of by Tigers chief Grant McCann and Goalkeeping Coach Barry Richardson.
We wish Harvey the very best of luck for his spell at The Northolme.
