The Tigers Trust recently joined CUP26 - a tournament by Planet Super League encouraging football fans to take climate action.
With an estimated 3.5 billion football fans worldwide, CUP26 harnesses the global passion for the sport to fight climate change on an unprecedented scale.
The tournament is supported by the UK Government’s Together for our Planet campaign, as well as media partner Sky.
Currently sitting in pole position in Group D, the Trust have won all of their games so far and have made a perfect start to the season.
Last time out saw us beat Ipswich Town 122-0, with our supporters saving 976.7kg of CO2.
Players can score goals for their teams by completing activities that will make a huge difference to the protection of the planet.
For example: a player can score three goals for their team by keeping their freezer and fridge frost free. This activity lowers your carbon footprint by 9.6 KG CO₂.

Thank you to all of those who have contributed so far; you are making a massive difference to protect the planet.
At a critical time for the planet, it shows that fans, families and the wider public care about climate change and are willing to do their part.
This week we are taking on Leeds United, and we need your help to keep our unbeaten run intact.
