Jacob Greaves says the team are looking forward to playing under the lights at the MKM Stadium against Peterborough United.
After falling to a 2-0 defeat against Huddersfield Town, the Tigers find themselves just one point above Peterborough in the Championship. The Posh were also on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline against Middlesbrough, and will be hopeful of securing three points themselves to move out of the relegation zone.
“I think it’s a big game - every game is big,” Greaves said.
“Like us, they’ve come up from League One and we had some good games against them last season. It’ll be an entertaining game under the lights at the MKM Stadium and we’ll look to take the game to them.”
The Tigers last came up against Peterborough earlier this year as they beat Posh 3-1 at the Weston Homes Stadium in League One. However, Greaves says the team won’t be treating this game any differently to any other game in the Championship.
“We’re both down there at the minute,” Greaves added.
“Whether you are playing Fulham or Peterborough - everyone causes you problems at this level. We have to nullify their threats and work on our strengths to see where we can hurt them.
“It’s still early doors but we just need to have the mindset of trying to win every game. I think the league table will look after itself so I don’t really look too much into it. I’m just trying to take it game by game.
“We’ll be at home full of confidence and hopefully we can win.”
