Hull City staff are raising money for Prostate Cancer UK throughout November!
More than 20 members of club personnel, including Vice-Chairman Ehab Allam and Head Coach Grant McCann, have signed up for Prostate United’s ‘Every day in November’ challenge.
Each participant is either running 5km or cycling 25km every day throughout the month to help raise funds for life-saving cancer research.
One in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, making it the most common cancer in men.
McCann said: “Prostate Cancer UK is a charity close to a lot of our hearts and we are proud to be supporting this month’s challenge.
“Twenty-two staff members are participating and it’s great to have myself, the owner and all the staff at the training ground involved.
“We’re more than a week in now and everyone has completed every day. It’s tough but each day is getting a wee bit easier.
“Everyone was really keen to do it and to raise as much money as we can for the charity. The sponsorship we have received is really appreciated and we thank everyone who has supported us.”
Almost £2,000 has been raised so far and you can support the club’s fundraising efforts by donating to our JustGiving page.
