Dan Crowley enjoyed an impressive cameo after coming on for his Hull City debut in the 3-0 win over Accrington.
Introduced with 24 minutes remaining, the attacking midfielder showed some neat touches and almost scored with an audacious chip.
The 23-year-old joined the Tigers on loan from Birmingham City on Monday and is keen to get plenty more game time at the KCOM.
“The gaffer said he wanted me to come and play, express myself and enjoy my football again, which is perfect for me,” said Crowley.
“I haven’t played for a while so that’s all I want to do – come in and enjoy my football and play again.
“I’m not the kind of player who doesn’t mind sitting around and just waiting to see what happens – I want to play every week.
“That’s why it’s perfect for me here because I think I’ve got the chance to do that.
“I like getting on the ball, running at people, creating goals, scoring goals – I need to score more goals – but I’m an attacking player. I like to get on the ball and just enjoy football.
“I want to get going, get playing, get settled in with the team and try to get promoted and win the cup.”
