Jacob Greaves insists that Hull City will continue to fight following their goalless draw at home to Lincoln City on Tuesday night.
The centre-back recorded his tenth clean sheet against the top-of-the-league Imps, and is determined to help the Tigers kick on for the remainder of the season.
“It was a really good game to be a part of between two really good footballing teams that like to play with the ball on the ground,” said Greaves. “We started really brightly and hit the crossbar, and had a few pot-shots as well.
“On another night we might have scored from one of our chances. We felt comfortable at the back barring one lapse in concentration during the first half but Reece got back in really well to cover. It was a good clean sheet for us but, on another day, we’d get all three points.
“We’re one of the best teams in the league so we want to be winning every game, so there is a little bit of frustration that we didn’t win this one. We’re the top scorers in the league so I’m sure once that part comes back we’ll be firing on all cylinders.
“We’re in a really good position in the table. I know there are teams with games in hand but anyone can beat anyone in this league because every game is tough. We’ve got 19 games left and we just have to stay patient because I’m sure that we’ll pick up a lot of wins and I’m sure we’ll be fighting up there.”
