Grant McCann will welcome back five players for the home game against QPR – although forward Mallik Wilks won't be involved.
Last season’s top scorer sustained a calf injury in the second half of the Tigers’ impressive opening day win at Preston.
While he is unavailable, left-back Callum Elder is fit again after a thigh problem and the four players who tested positive for Covid-19 have now recovered.
McCann said: “We’ll have five players back. Callum Elder is good, trained all week.
"Sean McLoughlin, Randell Williams, Ryan Longman and Tommy Mayer have all come back and trained all week. That’s a plus for us.
"We’ll lose Mallik Wilks after the tackle he received in the Preston game, which we all thought might have been a sending off.
“In terms of time scale on Mallik, we don’t know. His calf is a bit swollen at the minute, a lot of blood in there.
“Once that settles down and the blood disperses, we’ll be able to give you a better indication of time scale. Hopefully, it won’t be too long.”
