Hull City are delighted to announce the return of experienced midfielder Tom Huddlestone on a one-year deal, with a Club option of a further year.
The 34-year-old has been training with the first team for the past four weeks and featured in the pre-season friendlies against Scunthorpe and Manchester United Under-23s, scoring in the latter.
The four-time former England international represented the Tigers with distinction during a memorable four-year spell at the MKM Stadium between 2013 and 2017.
He helped the club achieve its highest-ever league finish of 16th in the Premier League, reach its first FA Cup final and secure European qualification for the first time, in 2014.
Revered by supporters, the classy defensive midfielder was integral to the 2015/16 Championship play-off triumph and totalled 161 appearances in black and amber, weighing in with eight goals.
Head Coach Grant McCann said: “We are delighted to bring Tom back to the club.
“His experience and quality will be invaluable for us this season and he will certainly benefit the young players we have in our squad.
“Having been with us now for nearly four weeks, he’s getting fitter every day and we will continue to get him sharper and fitter as the weeks go on.”
Tom will be sponsored by Language is Everything.
