Centre-back Alfie Jones is a fitness doubt for Hull City’s Championship trip to Fulham.
The 23-year-old defender, an ever-present in the league so far, is struggling with a groin problem and will be assessed today ahead of the match at Craven Cottage.
Head Coach Grant McCann said: “We’re waiting on Alfie Jones, who’s got a sore groin. He’s 50/50 at this present time.
“The last thing we want to do is take a risk on anyone and lose them for a substantial period of time.
“It’ll be a physio call, and Alfie’s call, whether he can make the game.”
Mallik Wilks (calf) and George Honeyman (ankle) won’t be involved, nor will George Moncur as he serves the second of his three-match suspension, although Ryan Longman (groin) is nearing a return.
“Ryan is getting better,” McCann commented.
“His scan has come back clear, which is good news for us. We were worried about that one, in case it was a long-term one.
“It’s come back clear so it’s just a case of when Ryan feels right. Saturday will probably be too soon for him but I imagine next week he’ll be fine.”
